Havens Hospices provides specialist care and support to adults and children living with complex or incurable conditions.

When you volunteer for us, there is a variety of tasks such as; Helping maintain gardens, Raking of leaves, undertaking grass cutting, working with our corporate volunteers and other general gardening duties.
The role also requires you to complete a training workbook, basic DBS check and 2 references.
We would be looking for a 4 hour commitment each week but you can choose to volunteer more if you wish.
For our volunteers roles we require satisfactory recruitment checks, maintaining confidentiality of charity information and adhering to GDPR (Data protection) regulations and carrying out your role to the best of your ability, enthusiasm and professionalism.
We look to cover out of pocket travel expenses (excluding taxes), offer a certificate of volunteering upon request, thank you events for volunteers, celebrating volunteer week and a named manager to support you in your role.
